Picked it up a few days ago its in pretty good shape for its age ..motor mount was not rotted away like most seem to be ..Motor itself is getting a going over new bushings and had the rotor sanded and repainted (waiting for it to get back .
got the waterslide decals from a fella at the antique fan collectors site
motor has bad bushings and caused the rotor to rub the stator ..but it is repairable ..new bushing being made .
Well I'll be dipped in doggie doo!!!
That thing is NEAT.
Howard - EXCELLENT pictures and posts.
This is great info, and perfectly illustrates the concept of "teaching with your posts."
That is BEAUTIFUL restoration work!
this PDf looks to be a later version of mine, that i assume was never put into production ..the rear door slides up and down instead of open and close . it also has a rear hood . iv wondered if it had any hardware that came with it ...i think it might have had a sash also .
rotor before giving it a good sanding with 220 grit .
