In looking at the schematic of a model 660 and comparing the tube line-up to a model 116B it appears they are the same except for cabinet and speaker size. Am I right?

Thanks in advance.
No, the 660 is a 10-tube set and the 116 is an 11 tube set.

Also, the 116 has 5 bands and the 660 has four.
The 116B also has a separate #77 pentode 1st audio amplifier and uses a 37 as a 2nd detector rather then a type 75 triode double diode as 1st audio amplifier 2nd detector.

OK guys, thanks for the additional information comparing the two. The extra shortwave bands would make tuning a little easier. It does appear that the two models do have the same IF circuitry, so selectivity would probably not be an issue.
