Started recapping the chassis of a 38-7 table model and noticed a few differences between the console chassis and this one. I have to believe that they are production changes as the console has a resistor/clamp/thermal compensator mentioned in a run change while the table chassis does not. A few of the caps for the tone control were also the same as the print and not the values mentioned in one of the production run changes. Question I have is, typically when you recap/restore a chassis, if the chassis is an earlier run, do you also go through the run changes and change whatever is noted to bring it to the 'latest' production run?
It isn't necessary to bring an earlier production run up to specs of a later production run, unless you want to do so. Icon_smile
