Terry, here are the chassis pics I promised. The first picture is how it came when I got it. The second shows the new caps and resistors. In the third, you'll see that there are two wires that do not terminate anywhere. The brown wire comes from the coil and the black wire comes from the gang condenser.

Ok I'll bet your brown wire is for your antenna connection. This set doesn't have a loop or bulit-in ant. Black wire is it connected the frame of the tuning condenser?? If so it's the gnd connection.
