Hey,
It actually sounds real nice for an early 1930's radio...
Any sound is great for something I restored, Icon_lol

My new project is this really awesome looking Zenith!
It is a 6-D615 and has been 1/3 restored back in the 90's sometime.
They replaced a few caps but not the Ecaps? Weird...
Cabinet was paint covered with splatter and a lot of crud.
It cleaned up really nice.... This one might actually be a keeper.
I only have one other Zenith (A 705) in my collection...

I have to restore the chassis when I get time but it is amazing how good it plays unrestored...

Hey Kirk:
What did you use to clean up that cabinet? It turned out really nice.

Easy job,
I use GoJo and #0000 steel wool. I lightly scrub the cabinet to get all the grime off. I use a toothbrush in corners too. I then go a little harder on the paint specks. I will use a fingernail for larger splatter. Then wash and wax with Johnsons Paste wax.
