Hi morzh.
This is a quick preview video. Later, when I have time, I'll make final videos and photos of this project.
My goal in restoration is usually not to achieve anything more than minimal functionality for demonstration purposes. The main thing is to restore and preserve the antique radio as close to the original as possible.

Finally, this radio has found its place in my museum.

Nice VEF 10 there. Exact same I left behind (there are several versions of 10).
It was left twice.
First my aunt's husband left it to me when they left in 1972, then I left it behind, when we left in 1989. I regret it. Good radio. Forgot whom I left it to. If to my cousin, there is a hope yet.

I bought a VEF10 here on Kijiji. It was the USSR's dream radio. An export version with the 13, 16 and 19M bands. I don't think I need to explain what that meant back then.

Yes. I had the same, but it said "VEF-SPIDOLA 10".
Some came with the blank band marker, perhaps they did not have that part of the turret populated.
In some I saw these numbers manually written.
