Philco 20 - what is this? -
morzh - 09-18-2014
What the heck is this, does anyone know?
This is the picture.
This is the same picture with something that looks like a wire that is going from Pin 2 of the Wirewound (which is the B- point) to the pin on the transformer panel that is the rectifier Positive (an 80's filament pin).
Has it been a wire we'd have a short across the rectifier.
I marked the "wire" and the points it goes to with red arrows.
Is it simply a tensioning rope or something? Did not have it on my previous 20 or it would pick my interest.
