Ron sent me a copy of philco service bulletins some time ago and No 221 suggests changing resistor 6650 (20K) for part number 33-1177.
I have returned to this set after a while away from it (been busy with work in this recovering economy) and found that the voltages are all over the place, also broadcast band is silent. So in my wanderings around the circuit this popped up.
Regards.
Will.

Hi Will,
I would suspect that 20K is OK as it's mentioned in the service notes. If you are finding hard to get the voltage readings I would start at the power supply to be sure that the output is what it should be. Without that baseline you'll be chasing your tail trying to get to work. After the power supply then the audio stages.
