40-201 finish restoring question -

ready for restore of finish - the case is in nice shape with normal minor scratches and the finish is dirt of course. Can you recommend any articles/threads discussing restoring the finish? I'm not looking for a museum piece, but want to keep the original finish without ruining it and touch up what makes sense.

Yes the gojo will.clean off the dirt, grime, cigarette smoke etc. After that some Howards Restore-a-finish will make scratches less noticable and freshen up the original finish without really changing it. It won't fix cracked or alligatoring lacquer.
