Model 650 bakelite block 80 has two caps? - Sourbone - 03-17-2016

Hello:

I'm in the process of recapping a model 650. I've found that bakelite block 80 part number 6287-DU has two caps in it. The parts list has part 80 as a .3 mfd cap in the bakelite block. The tar is melted out and oozed over the block a little. The cap leads are soldered; two leads on the screw end, one on the middle and one on the end.  Thanks for your help. This isn't what I expected when looking at the schematics and parts list. Here's a couple of photos.

Thanks for you help,

Dave

I have ran into this before. I think yours is two 0.15 caps in parallel which equals .3. Was there a jump wire btwn. two of the lugs?
