Bluetooth in vintage console radio? - nicfic - 04-10-2016

Anyone able to install a phono switch in a 1940's radio console?
Have a RCA switch in my 9X531 Golden Throat that I plug in a belkin bluetooth that works great.
Can that be done in , for example, a 1941 Zenith 8-S-563X?
Any other method?

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question though.

Practically any radio can be fit for linear input, some have inputs that are ready, some require mods but the rule is, if you have an audioamp, you can always fit the input in there, matter of some adjustments.

Buy a late 1930s or early 40s RCA or G.E console, they came with phono jacks from the factory, maybe some others did too but not Philcos. Otherwise an SSTRANS or some other low power AM transmitter is probably the better way to go, and requires no modification of the radio.
