3.2 Ohm replacement speaker question - Elrick - 02-14-2010

The Hallicrafters SX-122 communications receiver uses a permanent magnet 3.2 Ohm auxilliary speaker such as part R-48A. Will I do any damage to the receiver if I connect a 4 Ohm car speaker until I can find a Hallicrafters or other suitable 3.2 Ohm speaker? Thanks

Elrick, a 4 ohm speaker will work just fine.
