Hello again,
As I was checking the 2nd IF transformer values I noted that the primary and the two secondaries all are marked as 3.2 ohms each. However, I get 11 ohms across the primary, the other values are correct at 3.2. Do I have a problem here or is the schematic wrong? Would it be better to ignore this if I get a decent plate reading on the associated 78 tube? Could a shorted trimmer capacitor cause this higher than advertised reading. Thanks, in advance, for assisting.

Sounds OK I don't think it's a problem. Would double check by trying to align the transformer.

What Terry said, plus: If the trimmer were shorted, your resistance reading would be 0 ohms.

Thanks, guys, for that info. It was suggested to me that the schematic could be wrong, that is, about the primary value being 3.2 ohms. I measured 11 ohms there and I was wondering if this is an ok reading. I'm really a newb when it comes to this hobby and the learning curve has been strictly applied 'on the job' no formal training here. I'm humbly grateful for any input I can get.
