Volume control for 38-7 - 45philcodon - 11-04-2021

We have a Philco 38-7 console we use regularly to play 60's music from a local AM station.

The volume control is scratchy and intermittent and needs to be replaced but has a tapped element not readily available.
The P/N is 33-5216.

I'm looking for suggestions for replacement.
