Is there a way to externally 'simulate' the later added plate screen in the early tetrodes? The existing screen reduces the capacitance between the grid and plate and later tubes added the extra screen for secondary emission reduction. Just a thought.

You mean antidynatron or suppressor grid.

I am not sure how you can do it externally short of making a circuit that prevents dynatron oscillation....

Or what do you mean by simulating?
