Unusual Philco Nameplate on 116 chassis -

Gentlemen, i have this Philco Chassis for a 116 with a DeLuxe factory nameplate. I have never seen such a nameplate. Did it signify anything, is it unique in some way? thanks.

Hi Wilbur, it signifies a chassis that was originally built for export. Obviously it was built for sale in a country which was on the 110-120 volt AC standard, which would leave out many parts of the world which used a 220 volt AC line voltage. It may have originally been sold in Mexico; I know of a 16B that came from Mexico with a metal tag like that.

Wilbur,
I second Ron.
If it was a Canadian-built set, it would have almost the same tag, but would say it was built in Canada by Philco Products Ltd.
