Does anyone know if you can still get theses. And some of the color codes are gone . What do you look for to order replacements .
I seen the site at the repair bench . Does Chuck sell them.
Thanks Kent.

Hi Kent
No, Chuck does not sell them, but here's a few places that do:
Mouser Electronics -

Radio Daze -

Vacuum Tubes, Inc. -

Jim Cross, owner of Vacuum Tubes, Inc., is another of the "good guys" in the radio hobby and is deserving of our support.
Basically, you need to know the value of your original mica caps and then order new micas that are at or as close to the original value as possible.
I think most micas have a working voltage of 500 volts DC, which is plenty for nearly any radio application. Some are rated at 300 volts DC which is still enough for many radio circuits using mica caps.
