I had question about The cloth covered wire colors that I should have to use in 1930s Philcos
Here is a list that Chuck made wire colors

The other I have bought both 20 gauge plus 22 gauge .

Rich,

I used to think that was somewhat important.
But looking at the colors that are being offered, texture of the cloth, and the overall look, I could tell that wire from the original at half a glance.

I also have been trying to find a decent AWG24 wire, and all I find is guitar wire which, even if it could be used in some places, still lacks the voltage rating appropriate for usage in tube circuits.

So I am using up what I have and mostly use black and brown types.

Here is what I have using from Radio Daze
both in the non UL and the UL rated

cloth wire

I also have modern style wire too.
