Nova-Tech Pilot II - Joe Rossi - 10-12-2025

Bought a Nova-Tech Pilot II portable transistor radio on e-bay. It is NOS!  The original cardboard box, leather case, earphone, wall adapter, manuals, stand, and Burgess AA batteries.  The batteries measure between 1.32 and 1.45 volts.  These are nearly 70 year-old batteries, no leakage. Had to restring the dial cord as the original had become brittle and snapped.  This radio was assembled in 1966. I received one in Christmas 1967, had it for years until it became u/s.  Just had to have it!
