Philco 90 question - detroit-01 - 02-21-2011
Hi,
I'm working on a Philco 90 chassis with 1-47 output tube. I've checked the tubes, replaced the e-caps and one condenser. The radio does not play however when I grab the cap lead to the 1st detector (24A) it starts playing. If I let go it stops. Any ideas on what I should check next?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Open coil (or coils) in the front end. Very common.
Just use your ohmeter to check continuity on them.
