Emerson DA287 Resistor Question - dnitram - 01-13-2012

I'm in the process of restoring an Emerson DA287 and have a real head scratcher question. Riders shows ( http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/019/M0005019.htm ) resistor "R7" to be 15 mega ohms.... I've never run across a resistor that I can remember to be of that high a value! It's burnt and needs to be replaced. I checked on the AES website and the highest value they even list is 8 mega ohms. Wondering IF this could be a misprint and if not, shouldn't the 8 mega ohm work OK? The largest value resistor I have in my box is just 1 mega ohm. Ideas - thoughts??
