Help with a 38-9 - fixinmyphilco - 01-18-2012

Ok I went to replace the rubber bushings that go between the main chassis and the air capacitor and two wires broke off Im pretty sure where A went and soldered the new wire on but B im not sure there was a wire (small grey one coming off from where B is now soldered labeled Cbut it was just hanging there) im not sure that is where it goes any help would be most appreciated Thanks doug

Looks to me like you have one connection to the grid cap of the 6A8G tube, and one connection to pin 5 of the 6A8G tube. I only see the two connections on the schematic.

If there was a third one maybe it was a ground? Most of the time the ground are copper braid that usually soldered to the chassis.
