40-180 Dial Cord - GaryM - 07-08-2012

Can anyone let me know the correct dial cord for a 40-180? I see Radio Daze sells some different sizes and I can't find anything in the radio's documentation.

Thanks.

Gary

Hi Gary,
I can't remember the size, but I know it wasn't the very thin 'modern' cord. Some have used dacron fishing line, or non stretch line such as Spiderwire. Do not use monofilament.

I've used Zebco Omniflex Braid fishing line for years. No breakage or slipping yet. (Nope... I don't own any stock, wish I did) It's inexpensive, strong and good ole Wallmart (or any sporting goods store) has it.
