The radio I bought in a garage sale has no grid cap wires going to the 6A7 tube and the 78 If tube should there be?

Yes. Obviously "someone" has been in there before you. Replacing them is fairly easy and will be part of your restoration efforts anyway. The schematic will show you where the new caps and wires connect. Grid caps are usually part of a restorers junk box of small parts, so if you don't have a well-stocked junk box, I'm sure one of the guys here can help out with a couple. Good luck - the Model 630 is a nice set.
