Philco 38-10 Q -
Rubrburnr - 02-23-2013
I just got started on my 38-10 and have a quick question. The face of the cabinet, is that a "photo-finish"? Meaning, if I start stripping the face of the cabinet will I lose the grain pattern along with the three light color inlays?
Thanks in advance!

Ok, I did a little research and it is a photo finish. Luckily it isnt too bad so I will do some light sanding, sealer, toner and then clear...

Be
very careful sanding photo finish.
I have had good results using 0000 steel wool on photo finish. The object is to clean/smooth the old finish, then spray clear lacquer over it.
