Philco Model 60 -
Bob - 03-05-2013
Hi
I am working on a Philco Model 60. I am starting by replacing the Electrolytic caps #45 & 46 on the service bulletin #164. I notice that the #45 cap had been replaced before. The schematic shows the minus ends of the caps tied together, the 45 cap minus had been grounded. Should I make it like the print or was this grounded for a reason?
Thanks Bob

The print makes sense.

Connect the negatives of the electrolytics as shown on the schematic, else you will have an annoying hum you will never be able to get rid of.

Thank you Guys
I'll make it like the "print". I am just starting this rehab , so I will probably be back for more help.
Thanks Again Bob

So long as the radio is in rehab and you are not, good!
