A purely curiosity-induced question: what part of it was wood, what was plastic, did they use veneer or it was plastic or photo?

How was it made?

I can clearly discern wool in the base.

The grill cloth might be wool, but probably plastic (too).

They are partical board with repwood style walnut exterior. Like wood paneling.

I always thought they were made from radioactive turnips.

They actually could be.

From digested radioactive turnips, that is. Why waste a perfectly good radioactive turnip.
