Philco 42-395 - Guest - 10-06-2008

Anybody have a Philco 42-395?
Have not yet graduated to novice and have little idea of what I am doing. Is there anything safe to clean the chassis?
This radio was host to many families of wasps and other such things. Got most of the "mud" cleaned out but stillsome all over the wiring and other parts. But it does work Icon_eek Icon_eek
Cabinet is not too bad. Only missing a few small strips of veneer.
Hoping for some tutelage. Icon_idea
