I’m looking for the specifications for the Philco K-6 speaker field coil Looks like I’m going to have to use a permanent magnet speaker I can’t seem to find a K-6 speaker

Hi Benny,
According to Philco Service Bulletin #180-A, the K-6 (which is also listed as a replacement for the K-5) has the following specs:
-Field coil resistance 3275 ohms D.C.
-Voice coil resistance 1.1 ohms D.C.
-Output transformer primary resistance 680 ohms D.C.

You could use a K-2 from an early 90 (2-45),not an exact match electrically but close enough.
