Philco Files for Free Download

Files available as free downloads for Philco Phorum members...

Philco Service Bulletin 180-B contains details and specifications for all Philco speakers made through August 1, 1935 (which includes Philco radios up to the early 1936 models). In 2011, I used this information along with available info from various Philco service bulletins to extend this information through 1938 Philco models. The new version is an Excel 97-2003 spreadsheet which can also be viewed in Excel 2007 and newer. This is a ZIPped file.

Phorum member AI2V has kindly contributed a great Philco data file in Excel format. You may find this handy if you are considering purchasing a Philco and need a quick reference guide. Pete used data from my website and book to compile this Excel 97-2003 version spreadsheet. Again, the file is zipped.

Also, two PDF files are available here which may be of help to all of you Philco Phanatics out there.

One file is 7 pages of changes to Model 46-1201, the "Bing Crosby Special" radio/phono, covering Codes 122 though 130.

The other is 25 pages of Philco "Changes In Models" sheets covering the period from mid-1933 through May, 1938, and including the following models:

Look at the end of this post for a menu showing the files available for download. I have tested this in Firefox and Internut Exploder, and the downloads work in both browsers. If you have any problems downloading these, please let me know!

Note that these files are ZIPPED and will require either WinZip (available at http://www.winzip.com/ ) or the built-in unzipping utility in Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

You must be a member of the Philco Phorum to download these files. If you are not logged into the Phorum as a member, you won't be able to download any of the files. Instead, you will receive an error message when you click on one of the file names.

As mentioned above, the 46-1201 service info and the Changes In Models package were made in Adobe Reader PDF format; so after you have unzipped the file(s), these require Adobe Reader - available as a free download from the Adobe website:
