This is a keeper for me so I want it to be better than the stuff I do for you guys Icon_lol Icon_lol

 It looks all right to me Kirk, I have a few Philco's from that era, like a 42-327, and the grill bars, wood dial escutcheon, and base look black to me, same with a Canadian made Philco battery radio I have.

Thanks all,

  I finally finished my pair of Utah speakers!
I also finished the Croyden I smashed the grill on... 
I am happy with the results.. 
My arms are tired from rubbing, Icon_lol

The Croyden will go to Mike.. I did everything I could but someone changed it underneath so it does not work Icon_sad
