I'm about to finish my 70 cathedral ( mohogany sides & top ) with the toner laquer and was wondering what shade should I get for the top and sides and then also for the front panel? PS ,thanks for your help on my previous post. I now know how to do this, just not what colors look best. Thanks.
I used Behlen Master Jet Spray dark mahogany B101-0831 on a reddish mahogany cabinet with good results to even out the color all around after replacing some damaged veneer. Start with a very light coat from a distance and as you see how it is evening out the color of the cabinet, you can apply more coats. Let the toner dry between coats as the colors look a little different when dry.
