The closest I've seen to a coffin nosed Cord was a 1940 Graham Page where they built the body using dies from the assets of the defunct Duesenburg-Cord-Auburn company. It was a rear wheel drive car though, funny how the side profile view makes it look much like a Citroen Traction-Avant, which also had no running boards.
