Philco 42-350 dial lamp question -
terrylett - 03-27-2019
Just started work on a beautiful pristine condition 42-350 and was wondering if anyone knew which pilot lamp bulbs I can replace with.
There are 2 (one on each end of the dial glass) that have on markings - etched or stamped.
There is one in a cardboard sleeve on the assembly that clicks up and down and supposedly lights up which band you have selected on the dial. That one has .25A 6.8V stamped on it.
2 of the 3 are burned out.
They are all bayonet style and look like #44s or #47s but I would like to replace with as close as possible.
The parts list and schematic I got off Riders doesn't have that data.
Any suggestions?

You can find the Philco service info in the Library:
https://philcoradio.com/library/index.php/service-info/philco-1942-rms-year-book/
It says the dial and indicator lamps are Philco part 34-2064.
Looking at the Library parts reference:
https://philcoradio.com/library/index.php/parts/lamps/
That maps to an equivalent #44 bulb.

Thanks.
I have plenty of #44s so I will just swap out all 3 bulbs and be done with it.
