How do I tell a which version 91 Cathedral I have? - Printable Version

How do I tell a which version 91 Cathedral I have? - rocklandman - 04-19-2012

I got this the other day, and I am driving myself nuts trying to figure out which version this is 91A, 91B ???? I am clueless can anyone help???

The tag says it all. You have a U.S. Philco Model 91, Code 123.

The B stands for Baby Grand. See Ron's site here for cabinet designations: http://philcoradio.com/tech/letters.htm

By the way, if you had a Model 91A, it would say A on the tag and it would also be a Canadian version and would also indicate this as well.
Basically the power transformer is different, due to power differences back then in Canada. 25Hz instead of 60Hz mainly.
