Truetone D-2026 (Western Auto)
#1

Hello all;
Can anyone help with dial stringing information for a 1951 vintage Truetone D-2026 am/fm radio?  I am sure that the  radio needs two dial strings, one from the tuning shaft to the tuning capacitor wheel and another from the tuning capacitor wheel to the dial pointer. I have redone the string from the tuning shaft to the tuning capacitor but the string to the tuning dial pointer is the problem. I have not been able to find any information on how to string the dial pointer. If anyone might have one of these radios or any information on how to string the dial pointer it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Marion

For anyone interested, I believe I have found the information to my above post. The Truetone D-2026 has the same chassis as Coronado model 05RA2-43-8515A and dial stringing info is found on Riders Vol. 21, page 21-19.
