Philco 118X cabinet colors
#1

I need to refinish this cabinet and want to find the correct colors or stain for the contrasting woods.

Can anyone steer me to the appropriate colors and a vendor for them?

Is there a vendor for the Pilco small decal on the front? Does anyone know if there were other decals/markings for the controls?

Thanks

I apologize for missing this post until now.

It depends on which version of the 118X you have.

The early one:

Medium Walnut overall, with Perfect Brown on the horizontal accent stripe near the center of the cabinet and Extra Dark Walnut on the two sections of the fluting above the dial, as shown.

The later, and more common one:

It uses Medium Walnut on the control panel, sides and top; Extra Dark Walnut on the trim, as shown.
