41-608 code 122 Capacitor Questions
#16

A-ha, see it now. Green wire to 8uF, blue and red to 12 and 16 uF respectively.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

If I understand the schematic right the negatives of both 21A Red and 21B Blue go together to the yellow wire. Please correct me if I am wrong
#18

Look like the negative of the red is going between the 28 and 26 ohm candohm and the blue is tied to the 780 ohm? which is before the 268 ohm but the schematic is too blurry.
But yes the the both negatives are going to yellow but must be wired correctly per the schematic.

Hoping someone can help me out here.  New to the Phorum and just finishing recapping of my Philco 41-608.  I changed the bakelite block capacitors #81 with the two safety capacitors that are recommended.  I also just changed the filter capacitors to 21 10uf, 21A 22uf, & 21B 10uf.  I believe I have the 5 wires that were coming out of the can correct.  Attached is a drawing I made.  Can anyone confirm I have this right.  I still have a nasty hum.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks
