Hi all, I just finished up the chassis on my Philco 60 cathedral. It had an open primary on both the antenna and oscillator transformers which I successfully rewound. My question is I used scotch tape/cellophane tape over the secondary then rewound the primary over the top of it. It’s kind of late now to be asking but does anyone see a problem with using this tape? Radio works great and alignment went well. Thanks for your input.
