Philco 20 Speaker Mounting Bolts 3 or 4
#1

I am working on a Philco 20 and the cabinet has 4 holes for the speaker. Three are now being used, but I have seen a few sets with 4.
It looks like there must be a bolt under the escutcheon for the dial. on the ones that I have seen 4, as otherwise there would be no place to mount the nut.
Is it just a regular bolt, leaving the three others as the ornamental ones?

You can see the three ornamental ones. But on some other sets I have seen--in fact all, there are four square nuts--presuming 4 bolts.

I did finally try down some square bolts from ACE True Value.

I looked at my Philco 20 Deluxe (basically the same cabinet) and there is a non-ornamental speaker screw under the escutcheon:
