Philco Phonorama B-1756
#1

Hi I just found a Philco model B-1756 for free on Marketplace. Is it worth getting it even if it's free? I saw Stephen Masek posted about one back in 2008 doesn't look like they pop up often.

For free?

If you have room for it - Absolutely!

It does look like something is missing, however (record changer and its drawer?).

The record player is up top, and this set supposedly had room for a tv so that may just be a record stash cabinet. It's 1.5 hours up the road so I'll message and see what i can work out. Thanks Ron! I sure hope you've been feeling better. I need to start posting on here again more often.

Yeah, I just found photos of a 1954 model online, and it has nothing under the radio either. Perhaps it is merely for storage. Looks odd though with that piece of wood and the holes in the side wall.

Lots of room for cat toys.
