M-1662 radio-record cabinet
#1

Hey everyone I just purchased this cabinet and wanted to get some advice. I have searched and searched but can’t find this model anywhere online. Also the record player doesn’t spin but radio works so trying to figure out if my best option is to replace record player assembly or fix the current one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

Welcome to the Phorum.

Here's a link to the schematic:

https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/philco_m_1662m166.html

Also, Beitman 1965 pp 118-120. Nice clear diagrams.

The changer is probably frozen from old hardened grease. It looks like it may be a mid 60s Voice of Music. There are YT videos on how to remedy this.
