GE Canada M41
#1

I just picked up a very fine cabinet which has a non-working radio inside.  Sound familiar? Hey, but this what we live for.

I am tracing out the circuit to recap.

I cannot find the flat, black cap (pictured below) on the schematic.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Thank you

Wild guess someone made a repair by adding a new Ecap by just hooking it up to the old Ecap.

Thank you. That is what I was thinking also. I was nervous as it was a cap (I am new to this hobby) that I had not ever seen before. Plus, any wiring on it is long made illegible.

Try to unhook one of the leeds and measure with a cap meter see what you get. David
