My last cabinet for this year
#1

I have been pretty busy this year with cabinet stripping and refinishing.
So far I have done eleven cabinets
This is the last one as winter will soon be here.
It is a Stromberg Carlson model 140 L.
When I got the radio it had been recapped and it plays very good.

The cabinet had the original finish  but it was pretty much scuffed up and needed to be redone.
The trim was a very dark so I used  Extra Dark walnut toner.

 Here are some photos.

They are a nice looking radio, Stromberg.
I have a small tabletop octagon-dial one. It sounds surprisingly nice.
And the red pointer is lighted.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
