38-690 Gill Cloth
#1

Hi Folks,
Is anyone currently selling a good reproduction of the 38-890 grill cloth?

Thanks
Steve

Yeah, this one is not a chevron pattern.
Ask Mike Katz, if he has something that is similar.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Thinking of it, the cloth on both 37-690 and 38-690 is flat, no pattern, not embossed, pinkish-yellowish type.
If you have the sample, just find some that is similar density, structure and hue, and use it. It might not even necessarily be a grillcloth. Just some piece of whatever type is available and suitable for acoustic systems.

The 37 and 38-690 use the Philco ribbed cloth; Michael Katz sells a nice reproduction of it.
