The Englishtown Pee-Wee 7, the smallest radio in my collection.
#1

I thought I would dig this tiny radio out and share it here. Just bought a new set of 'N' cell batteries and this tiny transistor radio still works! There is some damage to the jewel case due to battery leakage in the past, but the radio and everything else are in great condition. Seems this radio was made in 1965 and really seems to be pushing the limits for a seven transistor radio of the time. Still, it picks up surprisingly well though I have to watch the volume due to its limitations and the fact my right ear likes to pop at certain tones. It's on right now as I type this and I decided to actually use it for a little bit.

Note: My hand is not that big, it's actually that small!

Pretty cool Jayce, that is a brand of micro transistor I haven't seen yet. The smallest radio I have is an early 1980s Burger King Cubs promotional radio they were giving in the Chicago area. We were at Radiofest in Elgin, Il when we found they were giving these away, so we snatched up a few. It has no volume control, just an on/off switch and was permanently tuned to WGN 720 AM (the Cubs broadcast channel). We had about four guys staying in one motel room at the Holiday Inn and I was listening to that little radio late one night at Radiofest. Although not very loud, I guess the sound carried in a silent motel room and one of my buddies shouted for me to turn than @#$% thing off Icon_lol

I never really thought of this as a spy radio, but it would look correct in a 60's spy movie wouldn't it? Just hope Q branch didn't hide anything in mine! LOL! The Cubs radio is neat as well. Looks to be in great shape!

No matter where you go, there you are.
