Wanted to share a radio that I was asked to evaluate for a friend at work. Came from his grandfather's estate in Pa.
Believe to be circa 1932. Tubes complement is 24, 24, 24, 80, and 45. It's a TRF that has been kluged with a another ganged tuning capacitor. Think it was done because the pot metal of the original was crumbling. Looks like an night stand whose top comes off held on with clips. Has no storage area despite being called a "chest". Could not determine the correct schematic. Any more info is welcome! Below is album link. Richard
