Old abandoned Philco building
#1

Saw this while I was on a bus going through Nashville, Tenn. on the Interstate. Thought you guys would like to see it, if you want. Would be interesting if anybody knows what the building was used for. Possibly a distribution warehouse???

See it here: http://antiqueradios.com/gallery/v/Philc...d.jpg.html

I thought that was in Knoxville? I've seen that building from I-40 on a few occasions when driving through there.

Possibly a local Philips/Philco distributor during the 1980s?

Could have been Knoxville instead of Nashville. I've only been through there twice on the Interstate so obviously I'm not sure. Icon_clap Art

That's interesting. Looks like it burned and was just abandoned. Fits in with what I have been researching lately, though that was an abandoned Ohio amusement park.

No matter where you go, there you are.

Yes, a guy told me there was a big fire there but I don't know when. Kinda think there was something on You Tube but it's been too long for my memory to be certain about that.

It is (was) in Knoxville...and the fire happened on February 7, 2007 (just about four years ago).

I found the YouTube video of the building as it burned:
