Speaker connector?
#1

Working on a Philco G1528 auto radio. Need a connector for the speaker leads. The socket on the cabinet is a round plate with 3 holes of approximately 1/8 inch dia for the plug pins.

Does any one know where I can get something to fit? Or what to use/make?

Thanks

Have used pins from a Molex connector to make up odd connector. Can be had a RS and come in two sizes. They can be expanded with a little bit of prying with a small screwdriver.

I should have thought of the Molex connector pins. Have several in the junk box.

However I since tried an RCA plug and the pin is a perfect fit! Just had to grind off and remove the metat ring and the plastic and now have a nice pin to use.

Thanks for the suggestion. You might want to check out the RCA pin.

You can probably save it using coils on the wire leads. Try unwinding a tad off each end of the rf coil.RodB — 09:47 PM
