37-630 escutcheon removal questions
#1

Is there anything special to removing the escutcheon from a 37-630 cabinet? It didn't seem to want to come off with gentle prying from the front. From the inside of the cabinet it appears that there are 4 nails. Is the escutcheon in 2 pieces?

Hi Mark

DON'T PRY IT!

The escutcheon is in three pieces, counting the glass. Grab the outer trim ring , twisting it slightly counter-clockwise (if that doesn't work, twist it slightly clockwise) and the trim ring will come off. Be careful you don't let the glass fall out as only the trim ring holds it in place! Once the trim ring is off, lay it and the glass aside and you will see the four screws that hold the rest of the escutcheon in place.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
